Good book

Nice book but really thin for the content. It's more an illustrated book with light text rather than text with illustrations. My grandson loves it, many flora and fauna pictures. Some really good information in the book. The text is pretty small though.
Overall a nice addition. Think of it as a primer.

Great Companion Book on Wilderness Camping and Hiking

This is a great junior version of the detailed, and thick, second edition of Camping and Wilderness Survival. This is an excellent book filled with thousands of color images and drawings and full of information in 225 pages. For those who don't want to go into extreme detail, this book is a great choice because you will find the essential, and then some, info with ease. If you are interested in the outdoors, then I highly recommend Wilderness Camping and Hiking.
